“Good morning Mack. Hope you and Ria are having a GREAT week. Just wanted to let you know that our group just finished our book study on “Blue-Collar Leadership: Leading from the Front Lines” last week.
We are starting “Blue-Collar Leadership & Teamwork: 30 Traits of High Impact Players” later this morning. There has been such a big change in everyone’s attitude and willingness to help each other. What Chris had to say…
We are truly growing as a team!
“Mack,
Just wanted to share with you that the first book study group completed the book study last week. We took a group photo to share with you! We plan to start our next book study on Blue-Collar Leadership and Teamwork.
Our second group is starting their book study tomorrow on Blue-Collar Leadership: Leading from the Front Lines.
I have gotten a lot of positive feedback from the first group and the second group is excited to get underway.
Thank you for helping us get this underway. We are truly growing as a team…I have heard conversations between team members discussing the podcasts they are listening to as well…this is awesome and I want to do all I can to help keep the fire stoked!!!” ~ Chris Boyd, City of Roswell, GA
What Ashley had to say…
At the end of the book study, I felt like I had gained a new group of like-minded friends that I could now reach out to for ideas or help with questions and projects.
“6 weeks ago, a group of us in Hudson, WI, from different departments, were approached about an opportunity to join a book study group on encouraging positive change. The book we read was Change Happens, Leading Yourself and Others through Change, by Mack and Ria Story…
Each week I felt inspired by my co-workers’ reflections and learning about their experiences.
At the end of the book study, I felt like I had gained a new group of like-minded friends that I could now reach out to for ideas or help with questions and projects.
We created a safe environment throughout these short weeks, and during the last session it was bittersweet that it had now come to an end…We brainstormed as a team about how to cascade this across the organization – to share this amazing opportunity with others and how to apply the principles learned in this book.” ~ Ashley Parker, GEA
